Hyperspectral camera

The main design goal for this one is to have an imaging system that can accept a commercial lens as the imaging lens and perform a hyperspectral sweep. I have both scientific and artistic plans for this camera, so it needed both spatial and spectral resolution.

I had a few projects that would benefit from being able to cut metal sheets. For example, the mask in the focus schlieren system, or a grid in the triode build. So I purchased a 20W pulsed fiber laser source.

I got some boroslicate tubes to make some ampules. After realising how fun it was to work the glass, I got some tungsten wire. It wasn't long before I was able to get a consistent hermetic seal. So at that point the only logical step was to try and make a triode.

By pulsing and RGB LED one after the other, we can get encode 3 timesteps into a single image. This was a simple demo with just a phone and a LED matrix I had lying around.

Tektronix 2755 repair

Picked up a Textronix 2755 at a flea market recently for a "hefty" $60 USD. It looked to be in reasonable condition (nothing that can't be reasonably attributed to a couple of decades of service). Absolute worse case there might be some savagable RF components and for the price, I'm willing to ignore the big dot sticker on the front.

The stock app is the only one that can really switch to the wide angle and the macro cameras but is misses a few features, like manual focus, macro video and viewing the fourth camera. There are a few apps out there for manual focus but none could access the macro or wide angle cameras.
